Library orientation session for MA students of DEH - Fall 2025
On 10 October 2025, the ULAB Library hosted an informative orientation session for new MA students from the Department of English and Humanities. Led by Mr. Kamal Hossain, the session aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the library’s resources and services.
Throughout the session, the library team covered a range of topics crucial for academic success, including the extensive print and online reading materials. The library emphasized the importance of understanding library services, rules, and regulations, ensuring that students are well-informed about borrowing policies and library usage.
In addition to the practical aspects of library operations, the orientation also highlighted the various study facilities available for students and the training opportunities offered by the library, focusing on research and reference support that could significantly aid students in their academic pursuits.
To conclude the session, a guided tour of the library was conducted, allowing students to familiarize themselves with the layout and specific resources available. This interactive experience aimed to empower students to make the best use of the library for their studies.
The ULAB Library is dedicated to providing ongoing support for students and faculty. For further information or assistance, students are encouraged to reach out to the library staff or visit the library in person. This orientation serves as a valuable step in helping new students navigate their academic journey successfully.
