Library orientation for the undergraduate students of the Bangla Language and Literature - Fall 2025

On 12 October 2025, the ULAB Library hosted a comprehensive orientation session for new students from the Department of Bangla Language and Literature. Respected teacher Ms. Sharminur Nahar, Interim Head of the Bangla department, brought her students to the library to equip them with essential knowledge about the library’s offerings and how to make the most of them during their time at ULAB.

The session conducted by Mr. Kamal Hossain provided an overview of the diverse resources available, emphasizing both print and digital collections relevant to the Bangla language and literature. A significant focus was placed on understanding library rules, ensuring that students know how to borrow materials and navigate the library's various services.

The students were guided to find specific library materials that helped students learn about the library’s organization. Mr. Kamal highlighted study spaces, support, and services to enhance the academic experience for literature students. The session ended with a guided tour, allowing students to visualize their new learning environment and feel more confident in utilizing the library's resources.
