Library orientation for the undergraduate students of the Department of English & Humanities - Fall 2025
On 12 and 13 October 2025, the ULAB Library conducted two engaging orientation sessions for undergraduate students of the Department of English and Humanities (DEH). The first session on 12 October 2025, led by Mr. Hasan Emam, the Joint Librarian, was designed to familiarize students with the library’s extensive resources and ensure a smooth academic experience.
The session began with an introduction to both the print and digital collections available, highlighting the importance of utilizing these resources for academic success. Students were provided with insights into library services, borrowing policies, and essential regulations to enhance their understanding and effective usage of the library.
The orientation featured an interactive activity to locate specific books and resources within the library that familiarized students with the library layout. The session covered study facilities and learning workshops available to support students in their scholarly activities. The session concluded with a guided tour of the library, ensuring that students could navigate the space confidently. The ULAB Library remains committed to supporting students as they embark on their academic endeavors.
Another similar session was held on the following day (13 October 2025) for another group of DEH freshers.
For further assistance, students are encouraged to visit the library or contact the library staff.
