Library sessions for students of the Technology & Development and Professional Ethics courses - Summer 2026

On 14 June 2026, the ULAB Library conducted two academic support sessions for students of the Technology & Development and Professional Ethics courses, continuing its commitment to fostering integrity and excellence in student learning. This program followed the earlier session held on 8 June, which Dr. Ahmed Abidur Razzaque Khan of GED designed to provide students with practical guidance on research, citation, and ethical scholarship.

The session was facilitated by Joint Librarian K. M. Hasan Emam, with the library team guiding students through interactive demonstrations and exercises. Participants gained hands-on experience with Turnitin, learning how to interpret similarity reports and enhance originality in their writing. They also received detailed instruction on citation and referencing, ensuring accuracy and consistency in academic work.

The program further introduced strategies for navigating extensive digital resources, including journals and books, enabling students to pursue their academic work more efficiently. 

Students responded enthusiastically; many expressed confidence that the skills acquired would directly improve the quality of their assignments and research projects. The ULAB Library reaffirmed its proactive role in supporting faculty-led initiatives and strengthening students’ academic foundations.
