Library Session for ENG4101: Research Methodology - Summer 2026

On June 17, 2026, the ULAB Library held a comprehensive session tailored for students enrolled in the Research Methodology - ENG4101, taught by the respected faculty member Arifa G. Rahman from the Department of English and Humanities. 

The session focused on utilizing essential online resources, including JSTOR, the Literary Encyclopedia, the ULAB repository, and Turnitin for similarity and AI detection. K. M. Hasan Emam, Joint Librarian at ULAB, led the session, providing valuable insights into these critical research tools.

The library team provided an in-depth exploration of how to navigate JSTOR and the Literary Encyclopedia effectively. They demonstrated how these platforms can enhance students' research by offering a wealth of scholarly articles and literary information.

The session also included a detailed overview of Turnitin, emphasizing its role in maintaining academic integrity by helping students check their work for plagiarism. The library team guided participants on how to utilize Turnitin effectively to ensure originality in their writing.
