ULAB Library Inauguration
On March 9th, the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) Library's new building was officially inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Dr. Maliha Mannan Ahmed, Member of the ULAB board of trusties accompanied by professor Imran Rahman, Vice-chancellor. Library authority welcomed the chief guest with a flower bouquet. Deans, professors, faculty members, students, and staff were present in the inaugural program.
The library's spacious and modern design provides students with a comfortable environment for studying and research. It also features discussion rooms, a computer zone, a group study area, and a large mezzanine floor for study.
During the inauguration, Dr. Ahmed expressed her excitement about the opening of the library and its potential to serve as a hub for academic and intellectual activities. VC Imran Rahman praised the registrar, Lt Col Md. Foyzul Islam (Retd) for the effort toward the successful execution of building the library and the university's investment in the library. Joint librarian K. M. Hasan Emam accompanied the guests for a guided library tour.
The ULAB Library is now open to all students and faculty members, and we encourage everyone to visit and explore the wide range of resources and services available. We look forward to seeing the library become a vibrant and integral part of the ULAB community.
