Library Orientation for MA students of the Department of English and Humanities - Summer 2023

ULAB library organized a comprehensive orientation session for the Master of Arts (MA), Department of English & Humanities students. Held on June 10, 2023, the orientation aimed to familiarize the students with the vast array of resources available at the library and promote their active engagement in utilizing these materials to enhance their academic journey.

Kamal Hossain, Deputy Librarian at ULAB, led the interactive session, providing valuable guidance to the enthusiastic group of MA in English students. Mr. Hossain emphasized the significance of utilizing the library's extensive collection of books, journals, and other academic resources.

During the orientation, Mr. Hossain enlightened the students about the organization and arrangement of both print and online materials in the library. He also gave a guided tour of the library for showing students how to use the various facilities available and highlighted key resources that would be particularly beneficial for their academic pursuits.

The session also addressed the effective use of the library's online databases and digital platforms, which provide access to a vast collection of e-books, research articles, and multimedia resources.
