Training series on Turnitin for the students of Communication and Strategic Public Relation courses- Fall 2023

The library organized four comprehensive training sessions on Turnitin: Similarity detection software in the first week of December 2023 for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in Communication and Strategic Public Relations courses. The esteemed faculty member Habib M Ali from the Media Studies and Journalism department initiated the sessions and invited the library to conduct the training in his class. Noman Hossain from the library led this training while he discussed academic integrity and ways to avoid plagiarism. He provided a practical demonstration of the Turnitin software. 

Attendees actively participated in both the on-campus and online sessions by posing insightful questions and engaging in discussions. Their enthusiasm highlighted the value of the training in enhancing their academic and ethical writing practices. This initiative is a testament to the ULAB's commitment to providing students with the necessary tools and resources to succeed academically.
