Library Orientation Session for MA Students, DEH- Spring 2024

On January 25 and 26, 2024, the ULAB Library conducted an orientation session for MA in English students of the Department of English and Humanities. The session was led by Deputy Librarian Kamal Hossain, and library staff demonstrated the various resources and facilities available to the students. 

Students of the TESOL and Critical Writing tracks attended the session in-person at the library. The session was designed to help students become familiar with the resources and services available at the library. During the session, the library staff demonstrated how to search and retrieve books, showed the availability of online resources, provided instructions on borrowing and general rules, and gave a guided tour of the library. 

The online session was conducted by Joint Librarian Hasan Emam, who provided similar guidance and information to the Literature track students. 

Overall, the orientation sessions were successful in helping the attendees become familiar with the ULAB library and its resources.
