Library orientation for undergraduate freshers of DEH - Spring 2024

ULAB Library organized an orientation session for undergrad freshers of the Department of English and Humanities on January 28 and 29, 2024. The comprehensive session was led by Kamal Hossain, Deputy Librarian, ULAB, and the freshers were introduced to the various resources and facilities available to the students. The main objective of the session was to make the students familiar with the resources and services offered by the library. 

The library provided guidance on how to search and retrieve books, showed the availability of online resources, and shared instructions on borrowing and general rules. Additionally, the students were given a guided tour of the library to help them understand the library's layout and facilities better. Overall, the orientation sessions were a success in helping the enthusiastic group of new students to pursue their academic excellence with the ULAB library and its resources.
