Book and Photo exhibition on the Liberation War of Bangladesh on occasion of Independence Day 2024
On the occasion of Independence Day in 2024, the ULAB Library organized a book and photo exhibition at the D-Building Lobby, ULAB on March 27, 2024. The exhibition displayed approximately 650 books and CDs/DVDs on the liberation war, independence, and emergence of Bangladesh. Additionally, the library exhibited chronological historical photographs of 1971.
The event was inaugurated by freedom fighter Dr. A Qayyum Khan, who cut the ribbon and Professor Imran Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, ULAB accompanied him. Other attendees included Professor Jude William R. Genilo, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor Milan Kumar Bhattacharjee, Professor Kaiser H. Haq, Professor Shahnaj Husne Jahan, Registrar Lt Col Md. Foyzul Islam (Retd), and other faculty members, administrative officials, and students.
Following the inauguration, a Liberation War documentary was screened, and Dr. A Qayyum Khan delivered a speech commemorating the Independence of Bangladesh.
