Library orientation for undergraduate freshers of Business Administration - Summer 2024

On 11th June 2024, the ULAB Library Conducted an orientation session for the undergraduate freshers- summer 2024 of the ULAB School of Business. This session was curated to help new students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to use the library resources and services effectively. The session included a Book Hunting competition, where freshers participated in finding specific books within the library as a team, helping them become familiar with the library material search and retrieval process.

During the session, K M Hasan Emam, Joint Librarian of ULAB Library, discussed the library’s resources and services, offering details on print and online collections, ensuring that BBA students know where to find the materials they need for their academic pursuits. Additionally, essential topics such as borrowing policies, an overview of the library's rules and regulations, and other essential information were covered. This orientation session aimed to empower freshers to become confident and efficient library users.
