Library session for students of the BBS 2102: Presenting & Application of Bangla Writing
On November 17, 2024, ULAB Library conducted an informative session for students of the Department of Bengali Language and Literature enrolled in the course BBS 2102: Presenting & Application of Bangla Writing. The session, aimed at enhancing students' learning experience, was initiated by Ms. Sharminur Nahar, Interim Head of the Bangla Department, who welcomed the library team to discuss the importance of reference books in knowledge acquisition.
Noman Hossain from the library led the session, providing an overview of how to effectively search and retrieve information from various reference sources. Topics covered included the latest additions to the Oxford Dictionary, the process of contributing to Wikipedia entries, and the practical use of online maps to simplify daily life.
The session was well-received by the students who actively participated in the class and was applauded by all attendees.
