Pictorial and Book Display on Liberation War- Victory Day 2024

On the occasion of National Victory Day, the ULAB Library organized a book and photo exhibition with a theme titled "Songramer Chitrokotha' at the D-Building Lobby, ULAB on December 17, 2024. The exhibition displayed approximately 350 books and CDs/DVDs on the liberation war, independence, and emergence of Bangladesh. Additionally, the library exhibited historical photographs of the liberation war of Bangladesh.

The event was graced by the presence of valiant freedom fighter Mr. Habibul Alam, Bir Pratik who cut the ribbon to inaugurate the exhibition. He was accompanied by Professor Imran Rahman, VC, ULAB. Other attendees included Professor Kaiser H. Haq, Registrar Lt Col Md. Foyzul Islam (Retd), and other faculty members, administrative officials, and students. The day-long exhibition was adorned with the presence of enthusiastic students and teachers. 

The library also screened a playlist of recorded stories of regional resistance during the Liberation War of Bangladesh ‘71 shared by the freedom fighters around the Bangladesh.
