Library orientation for MA freshers of DEH - Spring 2025
On 07 February, the ULAB Library organized an orientation session for MA students of the Department of English and Humanities. The session was conducted by Mr. Kamal Hossain who provided a detailed overview of the library’s resources and services.
During the session, students learned about essential library operations, including how to search for books, understand borrowing rules, and utilize the library’s physical spaces. A significant portion of the session was dedicated to demonstrating how to access and navigate online academic resources, particularly JSTOR, which is a valuable tool for research and academic work. Mr. Kamal also highlighted the library’s extensive collection of books, journals, and digital databases, encouraging students to make full use of these resources to support their studies. The session aimed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively navigate the library’s offerings and enhance their academic experience.
The ULAB Library remains committed to supporting users by providing access to a wide range of resources and organizing informative sessions like this. For further assistance, students are encouraged to visit the library or reach out to the library staff.
