ULAB Library carried out three comprehensive sessions on 11-12 February 2025 on citation and reference management, similarity and plagiarism software, and effective use of online resources. These sessions were initiated by esteemed faculty member Ahmed Abidur Razzaque Khan, PhD for students enrolled in Ethics and Professional Ethics courses. K. M. Hasan Emam, Joint Librarian at ULAB, led the sessions to help students understand proper citation techniques and enhance their skills in using Turnitin software. He also shared valuable insights about the effective use of credible academic sources. A similar online session was conducted on 13 February by Abu Zafor Bhuiyan and Farzana Jumi.

The library team introduced students to the Zotero citation management tool, ensuring they could accurately cite their sources, and guided using Turnitin to avoid plagiarism. Participants also received tips on accessing online resources efficiently.

Feedback from the sessions was positive, and students were encouraged to visit the library for further assistance.
