Reading zone
There is a large reading area for individual study on the upper storey of the library.
Group study room
The library facilitates a dedicated room for academic group discussions. Users can carry their personal books in this area.
Reference section
Consists of a collection of dictionaries, encyclopedias, and directories along with books on the language movement, religion, folklore, and photography with adequate seating arrangements.
E-resource reading area
The library has an e-resource reading zone with computer and internet facilities beside the circulation desk.
Discussion room
The library has two rooms available for academic discussions, each with seating for up to 10 people. Reservation is required for all discussions.
Liberation War of Bangladesh
The library has about 700 books on the liberation war, Bangladesh's emergence, and history. Adequate resources and facilities are available for those willing to read or research on this topic.
Journal- magazine section
This section has a collection of local and international journals and magazines with seating arrangements for reading.
Newspaper corner
The library subscribes to eleven national dailies for readers
Thesis, interrnship and project report
The library has a research area with 12 seatings that preserves the thesis, dissertation, internship and project reports of graduated ULAB students.
BBRI
Bangladesh Business Reference Initiative (BBRI) databank is a collection of time series data and publications of business and financial institutions. Users are facilitated with electronic and print versions of data that they can study and analyze in this area.
ULAB publications & BoT collections
The library has separate display shelves for ULAB publications & BoT collections with seating arrangements.
Map atlas section
The has a map-atlas section alongside the thesis, dissertation, internship and project reports study area.
