The ULAB Library has started a community initiative titled "Share the Joy of Reading" under which used children's books in good condition will be collected from ULAB students, alumni, faculty, and admin for redistribution to school and community libraries located outside of the Dhaka metropolitan area.
Types of books to donate
- Appropriate for children aged 3 to 14 years
- In Bangla or English
- Fiction (such as story books or picture books) or non-fiction (such as books on travel, animals, birds, history, etc.)
- Comic books or graphic novels for children
- Not school textbooks
- Not encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases
